Each course takes you from the top of the surrounding hills down into the historic settlement of Akaroa. Competitors are bused or driven to each start line saving your legs most of the hard work!!

Akaroa sits on the eastern side of Akaroa Harbour. Known for it's rich history, french cuisine, amazing scenery, and the rare Hectors dolphin, it is the perfect location for a running event.

Want an easy way to get to the start line?

Competitors are able to catch a bus from Christchurch to their particular start line for only $49pp. 


Buses will be departing at 7:00am and will be traveling from Christchurch to Summit Road, dropping competitors to the relevant start lines.


After the event the buses will bring you back to Christchurch. Buses will be departing Akaroa at 4:15pm (after the Prize Giving) and will have you back in the city at approximately 5:45pm.
